How to Get New Mortgage Prospects By the Bundle:
Public Speaking For The Mortgage Professional

Ever since my first public speaking class in 1983 I`ve discovered some interesting things about the dynamics that take place in the meeting room, when a competent, effective speaker is up front. That person, in the front of the room, has `authority,` believability, credibility just because he is up there.

More adults fear public speaking than anything else. By getting up there, unafraid, you gain incredible power over those in your audience who think - `I could never do that.`

Most local clubs, civic groups, sales groups, etc. suffer with a lot of really bad speakers. If you happen to be good, on the local level, you`re great!

If you`re not a particularly good speaker, I`d urge you to do something about it. Take the Dale Carnegie Course or a community college speech class, join Toastmasters, get some good books and tapes about speaking, and start paying attention to entertainers who use clean humor effectively and win favorable responses from their audiences. Get good. It`s not that hard.

Develop several good, interesting talks of interest and value to different available audiences, topics people want to hear about. Create interactive segments in these talks, when audience members get up and do something. Get good visual aids and props. Include a brief, relevant `commercial` for your services and offer free materials.

For those interested, there`s `finally` a very comprehensive, turn-key `Workshop/Seminar` system package designed for mortgage professionals which includes all necessary marketing materials, attendee handouts, workshop manuals, visual aids and instructional video.
